If you’ve been wondering where I disappeared to, the answer is nowhere. I’ve survived another unbearable Phoenix summer, though the jury is definitely out on how many more I can or want to tolerate. The blog as the few of you who have it on your RSS feed may have noticed has pulled some disappearing acts. Those were not the fault of this writer but rather a level of incompetence that I was unaware existed among those who label themselves IT specialists. I won’t name names in order to avoid the inevitable call from some fraud’s attorney, but if any of you ever think you might want to start one of these things shoot me an email and I’ll tell you who to avoid like the plague.

So, now that others more technically advanced than I have come to my assistance I should be able to start dishing out all sorts of relatively useless thoughts. Hopefully one or two will warrant your plodding through the thicket. At least it affords me a somewhat more useful and probably sane outlet than the time I spent this summer yelling at the commentators on Fox, CNN, MSNBC and CNBC.
